He Who Has Ears to Hear, Let Him Hear

He Who Has Ears to Hear, Let Him Hear

Without faith it is impossible to please GOD. Hebrews 11:6

The just shall live by faith. Romans 1:17

Our desire is to please God so how can we increase our faith? Do we pray more often, longer, louder, memorize more Scriptures, attend more Bible studies and Church services? Although all these things are fine, however you can do them all and not increase in faith. One Scripture is very clear on how faith comes to us.

Romans 10:17 So then faith COMES by HEARING and hearing by the WORD.

The word is JESUS. From Strong’s Concordance, word is RHEMA which means an utterance, speak or say, a pouring forth/ To hear is to give audience to. As our Lord speaks to us, let us HEAR what the Spirit is saying.

In the natural we may not hear what someone is saying to us if we are distracted and not focused on them. Perhaps half listening to someone else talking also. Maybe we are too busy to listen at that moment or we are not interested in what we are hearing. Perhaps our natural hearing abilities have diminished and we need to ask the person to please repeat what they say because I didn’t get it or understand it.

JESUS, we desire to HEAR you so our faith will increase to bring you pleasure.
