We who have experienced the new birth and come into relationship with our G-d have been blessed beyond anything imaginable. While it is true that any one of us under certain circumstances may succumb to a flesh failure. It is also true that because of this unique and privileged relationship we enjoy that our G-d will not hide His face from us for long nor will His kindness and mercy ever leave us without a way of return.
When the child of the Most High finally realizes the depth of G-d’s love for them, it serves as the catalyst for an even deeper relationship based not on what we do or not do but on who G-d is. There may be times when we need His strong Hand to correct us but that hand is always measured out with mercy, kindness, and absolute love.
