Stronger

Stronger

Following a stroke my right arm was very weak, I decided  to STRENGTHEN it by lifting some weights. I started out with 3-pound ones with much difficulty, but as I continued each day I could do them without that much pain. I was proud of myself as the sets got longer each day. Then one day I heard a man on YOUTUBE state that I could do 100 of them at that weight and never Develop my muscles on my arm. I had to go to a heavier weight to develop my muscles. I borrowed my son’s 5-pound weights and began a very painful time which I could hardly lift.

The Holy Spirit spoke and said to me ‘I want you to develop your Spiritual muscles of faith and love.’ The trials and circumstances that He allows will develop making me stronger. I don’t want to remain weak. I don’t like the process which is sometimes painful. So, I count it all joy knowing the result will make me perfect and entire wanting nothing. JAMES 1:4, so instead of complaining that it hurts the results will be rewarding not to just myself but to those God puts in my life.
2 Corinthians 4:17 For our light affliction which is for a moment works for us a far more exceeding and eternal WEIGHT of glory.
