CCGC’s Women’s Ministry

Women’s Bible Study

The Women’s Ministry was founded based on the Scripture in Titus 2 and provides an opportunity for women to come together for fellowship and friendship while growing in their relationship with Christ. The Scriptures call for the older women to mentor the younger women regarding the things of God.
It’s an opportunity for the “mature” women of Calvary who have walked with the Lord for many years to mentor and guide the younger women of the church – to share their accumulated experience and wisdom however and whenever they can.
The ladies meet the first and third Tuesday of the month at 7pm in the Sanctuary.
We are currently going through the Book of Hosea. Come along with us as we explore, verse by verse, this prophetic book that uses Hosea’s personal life, in particular his marriage to the unfaithful Gomer, as a metaphor for God’s relationship with Israel. Despite Israel’s repeated spiritual adultery through idolatry and disobedience, God promises restoration and redemption. Hosea calls the people to repentance, highlighting God’s mercy and desire for a genuine relationship with His people.

Women to Women Mentor Ministry
Mentoring includes a relational experience in which one person empowers another by sharing their God given resources.
It is about building a connection that allows a woman to have a Godly woman in their life that is walking alongside them and encouraging them. This ministry is designed for a one-on-one mentoring. Connecting women to women in all different ways such as serving, cooking, gathering and using our God given gifts together.
If you call Calvary Chapel Gloucester County your home church and interested in being mentored, please contact Kathy by email at womentowomen@cc-gc.org.
